Who is it for:
-Someone who only has a minimum of 20 minutes to dedicate to exercise. (That's not to say that if you have more than 20 minutes any day of the week, you're not going to do more. But, remember, 20 minutes is just the minimum.)
-Someone who is wanting to get started with a fitness program and doesn't know where to start.
-Someone who needs a quick and fun mini-challenge for 10 days.
-Someone looking for a prolonged repeating challenge for a set period of time.
-Someone looking for a fitness program that fits to their goals and schedule.
How does it work:
You have the control of your own challenge. You choose the workouts, you choose the style, you choose the intensity, you choose how it best works for you. Remember that, this website's main focus is on the #10daysoffitness, but there is also a nutritional aspect that you must not forget. There will always be nutritional resources available on this site. Don't forget that.
You have the control but here are some ground rules:
-You must do 10 days consecutively, even if one day you opt to do just stretching.
-You must do 20 minutes minimum. You can always opt to have a 45- or even a 60-minute workout. It is your choice based on the time that you want to spend working out and the time that you have available to exercise. Also, what your personal goals are.
-It is recommended that you find a fun activity to work out. Try to never feel that you're doing the workout because you have to but rather because you enjoy it and because you want to check that day off your to-do list.
Plan of action:
1. Choose the day to start your challenge. The day that you start will be day #1.
2. Keep track of your days on a piece of paper. It is recommended that you check it off on a list being that you'll find greater satisfaction in the program.
3. Feel free to tag #10daysoffitness on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Tumblr.
4. Once you have completed Day #10, you are DONE! with #10daysoffitness. Congratulations!
5. Take 1-2 rest days. You can opt to take 3 days of rest. 1-2 days of rest is highly recommended whereas 3 days should be taken sparingly unless your workouts are intense (greater than 45 minutes on at least 7 out of the 10 days.)
6. Optional: repeat steps 1-5.
